Hai Bar Yotvata | Explore Israel

In recent years, Israel has become famous for breeding endangered animals and reintroducing them into the wild. Hai Bar Yotvata is a sanctuary for these animals. The sanctuary is divided into 3 parts. The first is the open area for animals and herds that live on desert plants. You can see this area by private car along with an audio disc, available in several languages.The open area mimics the condition that the animals will experience once they are reintroduced to the wild.

The second part is the Predator’s Center. This is an enclosed area for large predators, reptiles and smaller wild animals that you wouldn’t want to run into.

The third area is a dark room where visitors can observe how desert animals behave in their natural habitat at night. You can do the Predators Center and Dark Room on your own, but need to go with a guide for the open area.
