Rabbi Eliezer ben Yaacov was a forth generation Tana and one of the younger students of Rabbi Akiva. He was counted along with the Sages of Usha.

Kever Rabbi Eliezer ben Yaacov Rabbi Eliezer ben Yaacov is buried in Kfar Chananya not far from the tombs of Abba Chalafta and his son Rabbi Yose.;
